A while ago I was thinking about how everyone and everything is becoming green. Cars, water bottles, stores, cats, newspapers, Facebook profiles – everything is becoming green. Global warming, environment this, green that, blah blah blah. Isn’t anyone else sick of the color?
Recently I was in a meeting. A gentleman handed out cards for Power Vote, an initiative to get 1 million voters to vote with green in mind. This dude handed the cards out to everyone in the room, not caring if they actually wanted to vote with green in mind or not. Someone in the back of the room raised their hand and said, “Uhh…what if we’re against the environment?”
Cue GoAntiGreen.com. Those of us who are against the environment or apathetic with the whole situation now have a voice. We’ve been oppressed by the greenies for far too long.
Why would we be against the environment? The winter in the midwest lasts from November till April, which is a good 6 months. The ridiculously cold weather and immense amount of snow that is snowed disproves global warming. To combat this awful weather, we have to ban together to increase the speed and seriousness of global warming.
