It brightened my day. I thought it would be a good idea to notch up little pictures of them down the side of my car, just like WW1 fighter pilots did every time they shot the enemy down. After I got a few I could call myself an 'ace' or the 'brown baron' or something. Sure they burn less fuel, but the manufacturing process is more pollutive because of the materials required and, most of all, the batteries. So every time I see some smug hippie driving one or spouting off about how little fuel they burn, I smile because they're doing more damage than anyone else.
