They'd encourage people to turn out their lights for two hours and walk around Pasadena, CA. We're in a worldwide economic crisis here, why should anyone waste their money helping or hurting the environment? I wholeheartedly agree. However, have no fear. There are ways to bring harm to our environment without spending money. Some examples are cutting down trees, supporting the color brown, kicking a Prius, joining our Facebook group, and much more. Going out of my way to spend money to hurt the environment seems as insane as spending extra money to help it. Then again.. Hybrids will cause battery acid to leak into the aquafer in a few years, and those costs extra.
